Death By Carmen Sandiego

My friend Valorie, being the slightly odd child that she is, had a crazy dream that Carmen Sandiego was trying to kill me and Caleb. Now to set the record straight Carmen and I are close personal friends and she would never even imagine attempting to kill me. :)

Monday was the day. UIL had finally come. As much as we dreaded Erewhon the cursed book that we had to read the trip was well worth it. Rach, Ericka and I spent most of the day walking back and forth to the gas station. It was a Very Beautiful Day. We took almost a million pictures, laughed a lot, and played some games. Finally we took our long awaited test. I ended up getting second place (in literary criticism by the way), however our team was sadly one point from being first place team. So I will be moving on to regionals as an individual. Sad. :( But I am keeping my fingers crossed that we might be the wild card team. Caleb is advancing as well. Although I had a pretty terrific day with my friends, I was not fond of the way that I was treated by a careless individual for waiting for Val-Pal to bring my jacket. It was pretty uncool, just saying.

So I got my hair cut kinda short. :) Just a tad bit longer than shoulder lenght. I am pretty happy about it. My hair was getting dreadfully long again and this is going to be the HOTTEST summer ever. Plus you know, I will be going on a cruise to Cozumel and I must be prepared for such a climate.

Oh and possibly the most important event of my whole entire life, the 12:01 a.m. realease of New Moon at wal*mart. :) Me and my mom stood in line for almost an hour waiting for this crazy movie about vampires to come out. We stocked up on ALL the necessities. Pizza, ice cream, candy, dr.pepper, ranch (for the pizza of course) and whatever else we could think of at the moment. What I learned from the expirence is 1) my mom is a little bit crazier than usual at late hours of the night 2) vampires could get her to agree to almost anything 3) I would never let her be the Bonnie to my Clyde because it was really scary when she was pushing me in the buggy and 4) Jacob (especially with his long hair) is a million times hotter than Cullen. Plus there were free tattoos (always a plus). Team Jacob. :)
